What's so cool about gagging yourself? My 4 and 2 year old have been doing this off and on recently. Is it just an attention getter? Because it's working! I honestly can't tell you if there is a pattern or anything to when they do it, but I don't get it. I don't really like gagging and can hardly believe it's a cool feeling and fun to repeat...Any thoughts?

I have no idea either, but Alexa has stuck her fingers down her throat and caused herself to vomit several times now. I am not sure she understands the cause and effect of it though..I wonder if it is just that fascination they have with the wierd things their bodies can do. I remember learning how to burp on purpose when I was about 8 and I though it was sooo cool. I am not sure how to stop it, unless you can teach them a substitute wierdness...
My 4 and 2 year old have done this as well... I just tried to not be too grossed out and told them to please stop and then we used the old distraction tool... moved on to something else.
